I'm back!!, aft a very-very long period. Guess no1 even cares whether im still maintaining tis bloggie or not. Howeva, im here to do some changes and oso an entry I wanted to put up long ago but was being hold back due to some circumstances.
Ive changed my bloggie song...weewee...hmm, I feeling like wat am being described in the song. It reallie suits me for now. You may come out wif any interpretation u wish, but i will not say anitink...
Now, for the entry I longing to write is abt my trip on SS.Virgo. I was happie waiting fer tis trip as i took it as a runaway from stress and the hectic environment. On 2nd of April till 5th was the camp. Frm sin to phuket and then to langkawi and lastly back to sin.
Its a camp actualie, not any dream vacation many will wish to go. It is called the maritime experiential learning camp (MEL Camp). For duration of 4 days and 3 nites, a lot I have gone thru and experience. I get to be closer to my classmates i nvr was b4 tis and we learnt more abt ourselves. I bet, anyone going onboard SS.Virgo will 1 day wish to come back on it. So do I! HAHAHA!!!
She's a lovely ship wif a total of 14 decks. U can find restaurants, swimming pool, jacuzzi, gym, library, recreation room, bar and karaoke lounge, casino, a theatre and even a hair saloon!!. And many other more or the list goes longer...HAHA, I was so surprised to find the hair saloon onboard and ironically, I just had my haircut the day before.
Since its a camp, it is not only purely a vacation but the programme is filled wif activities and tours onboard and ashore. To tell my whole journey will be too long even it is just 4 days. But not to tell a bit of it will be unfair. So to share my experience wif my frens out der who care to drop by my bloggie, pls do lend me ur eyes for the next few paragraphs.
DAY 1
Depart from the cruise centre @ habourfront at abt 3+ nearly 4pm then. We board the ship at 12+!! It was so early...All the students gathered near the departures hall waiting anxiously for the gate to be opened. I was glad that my whole family was der to see me off. After all the goodbyes, we slowly proceed to the immigration counters and now on the way to SS.Virgo. Tis is mine 1st time going on a cruise ship and im alone w/out my family!!
Before entering the ship, ur are welcomed by tis lady dressed like a hawaiian dancer and are asked to take picture wif the hawaiian dressed lady. I find it kinda surprising and a bit awkward. Not ending der, further up a penguin mascot is a asked to take a pic wif u. N guess wat?? They sell tis pics they took!! I said WAT!! Tis is so ridiculous i thought... But sumhow it is like so glamour.. =pPp
We had our lunch at tis restaurant called 'bella vista'. It is a fine dining area where dining etiquette is required frm u. The food there, it is so superb. Especially the malay food or they called it 'hidang'. Serving rice along wif other dishes and soup. ALAMAK, it is so nicela...HEHE. N lastly I had ice-cream as dessert.
Other than watching and hearing the explanation of how ship navigates its way out of port, an introduction made by 2 special guest and lastly watching a show at the 'Lido', the whole day was filled wif fun, food and some pics taking.
